Who we are
Marlow Worldwide Yacht Charters is owned by Liz Marlow, a well-respected name in the yacht charter world. We are a small company that relies very much on the personal touch with its clients.
There is no large, corporate booking team; you deal directly with Liz. You’ll benefit from her extensive connections and unrivalled knowledge of charter yachts and exotic destinations.
Liz has over twenty-five years of experience as an independent yacht charter broker running her own company. She will only recommend reputable, professionally run yachts which have full-time, highly trained crew.
Fully crewed yachts are available to charter in many parts of the world. The Caribbean including the Bahamas is still a favourite destination for those seeking sun and warm waters in the winter months. In the summer, the Mediterranean, from the western European end to the exotic shores of Turkey and Greece is another of our areas of expertise. We can also arrange for charters in more remote spots, such as the South Pacific.
We are an independent yacht charter broker and can recommend a range of luxury charter yachts with crew to meet your specific requirements. This might be elegant classic yachts, roomy catamarans, sleek performance sailing yachts or impressive motor yachts from surprisingly modest charter rates to the very high end expensive mega yachts. We are experienced and well versed in the needs of the most discerning clientele.
Over the years, Liz has refined her yacht charter booking process to make it as simple as possible. But it will start with a telephone conversation where you can discuss all aspects and requirements. Before you get in touch, there are a few points to ponder:
- Your dream destination, the type of yacht you want to charter, and an idea of the dates you wish to travel.
- The number of guests and their ages. Are there couples, children, single adults? This is important; the type of boat recommended will depend on the layout of the sleeping quarters.
- Your vacation budget.
- Any specific activities that you want to take advantage of during your charter, or amenities that you wish to see onboard.
Once you have that information, we’ll take care of the details.
Liz will provide a shortlist of the most appropriate charter yachts available on your chosen dates, concise and comprehensive information on yacht amenities, the available activity and excursion options, and the costs involved.
Once you’re completely satisfied with your choices, the booking is confirmed via e-contract and you will pay a deposit for your trip. Nearer the time of the charter a discussion will take place around the types of foods that you and your guests enjoy, what drinks you like, and whether any of you have any allergies or medical conditions that the captain and crew should be aware of before you board.
All of the information that you need will be sent to you via email. This includes thongs such as a packing list, meeting arrangements and transfers, and an itinerary for your vacation. Every detail is considered, and all eventualities are catered for.
Liz understands the need to relax and take a luxurious, stress-free break from the daily grind. Having spent many years working in high-pressure environments in London’s corporate banking and recruitment sectors, she took the opportunity of a twelve-month sabbatical from her job to embark on a year-long sailing adventure to the Caribbean. She ended up in Antigua, where she settled and eventually established her charter business. Liz is now based back in the UK but still travels the world to see first-hand the charter yachts and meet their crew.
Over the last twenty-five years, Liz has arranged luxury crewed yacht vacations for hundreds of clients, many of whom return, year after year. This is a testament to her attention to detail, exemplary knowledge of the yachting industry, and her desire to provide a world-class service to every client.

Marlow Worldwide Yacht Charters Ltd is owned and operated by Liz Marlow, who has over 25 years’ experience as an independent yacht charter broker. Now in the UK and based in Poole, Dorset, Liz established her business in Antigua in the Eastern Caribbean. She lived in Antigua for many years and gathered specific knowledge of chartering in the Caribbean - one of the prime yacht charter destinations each winter season.
As well as the Caribbean, her experience of arranging private yacht charters also covers the West Mediterranean, the East Mediterranean (Greece and Turkey) and the Bahamas.
