Life Onboard

A vacation with a unique blend of indulgence, tranquillity, and effortless enjoyment

Is a crewed yacht charter the right option for you?

Yacht charters are for families, couples and groups of friends. You and your family or guests will experience a unique, sumptuous and unpressured vacation. We promise to find you the best-quality yacht, in an idyllic location, with fabulous food that’s catered to your needs and requirements, and accompanied by a discreet, professional yet friendly crew.

The luxury of a yacht charter

Chartering a crewed yacht is similar to staying in a private villa with full-time staff - the yacht’s crew will sail the boat, prepare your food, mix your favourite cocktails, supervise water-sport activites, and service the cabins. Part of the luxury of a yacht charter is having no fixed itinerary - in discussion with the Captain you can choose the day's activities or destination (providing it's possible and fits within the overall plan for the charter) over breakfast. It’s your choice and you can change your mind if you wish.

What do you do all day on a charter yacht?

It all depends on where you are and which yacht you've chosen to charter.

To some people, chartering a yacht is largely the pure delight of being out on the water. Your day might start off with an early morning swim. After breakfast, a gentle sail to a another peaceful anchorage to try out some water-sport toys such as paddle board or water skis, a stroll along a beach. Then lunch back on board, a snooze in the shade of the cockpit perhaps and another short sail to your overnight anchorage. Cocktails at sunset and dinner under the stars.

If you want a more ambitious itinerary, then each stop could be a different island or different island nation. Visit fashionable ports, quaint fishing villages with waterfront cafés, historic sites or deserted bays – the choice is yours. Excusions ashore can be easily arranged for you with guides if needed.

Some yachts have a wide array of water sports equipment available to you. This could include jet skis (usually only found on motor yachts), sea bobs or e-foils, along with a vast range of towable or floating equipment. Some yachts are recognised dive centres. All of our charter yacht crew members are professional and fully trained, so you can rest assured that they will keep a discreet eye on proceedings to keep you all safe.

Food and entertainment

Food aboard your charter yacht will be planned and cooked according to your choice. You will be amazed at the range and standard of cuisine even the smallest boat will offer, while the larger motor yachts will have restaurant standard galleys with perhaps even a Michelin-starred-restaurant-trained Chef.

Even the smallest charter yacht will have internet access, a good music system, a collection of movies to watch or books to read, and board games to keep you entertained. Some of the larger yachts have advanced onboard entertainment systems, the ability to stream your favourite television shows, and access to a wide selection of movies - the crew will even provide you with popcorn, and your favourite snacks and drinks!

The joy of a fast sailing yacht

Being on a performance sailing yacht is about the thrill of sailing, and the full-time professional crew will deal with all aspects of handling the boat. However, they will usually be more than happy to invite you to participate if you’re already up to speed or interested in learning how it’s done.

The Eastern Caribbean provides some of the best warm water sailing conditions in the world. Expect steady trade winds and a few white caps as your yacht makes its way between islands.

Yet you might wish to spend a day or two just chilling. Late mornings, leisurely breakfast, a gentle swim, check your e-mail (if you must) and from the cockpit or bow, watch as your yacht comes into its first port of call. After lunch, maybe a snooze is called for or you can bury yourself in a good book. Late afternoon, take a brief visit ashore and be back on board in time to freshen up for an evening cocktail before dinner.
